We offer safe, clean and comfortable accommodation for all visitors to the Bundaberg region. We are a working Hostel in the heart of Bundaberg and have strong working relationships with local farmers. This enables us to find and place you into fruit and vegetable picking/packing jobs both short term and long term. We can also ensure your working days are recorded for Visa requirements.
A Rich Heritage
Grosvenor Backpackers is located opposite the railway station in the heart of Bundaberg. The building has been here for over 100 years and has a rich history of providing accommodation for that long. In the early 1900's it operated as a town stay place for farmers and travellers and has been a backpacker hostel for over thirty years providing both international and domestic guests a place to stay and work on farms in the region. The hostel, under various names, has provided many thousands of backpackers with government approvals for an extended visa which enables extra years of stay in this country.

Staying at Grosvenor Backpackers will allow each guest the opportunity to mix with others in a friendly, safe, relaxed environment. We provide guests with the ability to source work in the local area to either amass savings to continue their Australian experience and add to or complete their requirements under their visa needs. The current health climate is challenging by staying with us you agree to abide by any Queensland government health directives.
The hostel has recently undergone a refurbishment of its rooms and facilities and now offers accommodation and work for up to 130 guests at a time. Free transport is made available for movement between the hostel and local farms where plenty of well paid work is available for those who wish it.
